Dalton McGuinty is apparently resigning as premier of Ontario and proroguing parliament so the Liberals can have a leadership conference. I'm not sure how long such a proroguing can last, but I can't think the opposition will be particularly happy about it, especially will all the Oakville power plant stuff going on. Plus they would rather just have an election with the Liberals in disarray.
I'll guess that the Liberals will pick Eric Hoskins as their next leader, mainly because his association with Doctors without Borders makes him fairly squeaky clean compared to the rest of the party's MPPs.
Exciting times coming up though.
