Pro-Line from OLG Is Not a Good Bet

I read an article in the Toronto Star about Pro-Line shutting down betting on some NFL games. What was more interesting to me was these two paragraphs:

"Pister said the OLG aims for roughly a 60 per cent payout.
Since the OLG began taking sports bets in 1992, it has made $4.3 billion and paid out $2.6 billion."
That's a pretty crappy payout ratio. I'm sure your local Mafia affiliated bookie has a lot better odds. The farther Ontarians stay away from OLG, the better off they'll be.
